ITLT Systems: An IT Arm with 2,000+ Clients

ITLT Systems is an IT company inside LeasingTeam Group, the largest association of HR companies in Poland, operating since 2004. The group carries a substantial talent pool, placing up to 10,000 specialists in work every month, and on that base ITLT assembled its own team of more than 200 engineers: developers, analysts, QA specialists, and project managers.

I served as Chief Technology Officer of ITLT Systems. Below is what makes ITLT Systems different from a typical development outsourcer, the projects we delivered, and what I was responsible for.

What ITLT Systems does: from hardware to software

The unusual part of the model is that the company covers the hardware as well as the code. Alongside classic IT services, ITLT Systems manufactures its own laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals, and VDI terminals, configured for a specific corporate client.

That produces a rare coherence: the customer gets the equipment, the virtual infrastructure, and the application software from one source, without the seams between vendors where responsibility usually goes missing. The remaining lines are built around it: virtual desktops (VDI), cloud migration and hybrid architectures, and unified communications that put voice, video, messaging, and mail on one platform.

Clients include leading Polish banks (PKO Bank Polski, Bank Millennium), the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), and fintech companies such as Vodeno. That is the segment where a contractor is held to security and code-quality requirements comparable to the banks’ own internal standards.

Projects that show the scale

An EV charging platform. For a large European fuel company we built a system for managing a charging network: it connects charging service providers with station operators and allows the fleet of chargers to be monitored in real time. The work involved integrating IoT hardware, processing large volumes of charging-session data, and a billing system that calculates the service automatically. The client got a tool for entering the electric-mobility market, designed to scale as the number of stations grows.

An online platform in healthcare. For a private clinic and research centre, a solution for prevention and early detection of oncological disease. The cost of error is different here: requirements for data accuracy and patient privacy shape the entire architecture.

HR automation for a large business. For a market leader in staffing services, a full-cycle workforce management platform: digital onboarding, time tracking, automatic payroll calculation, and compliance management. Scale here is measured in thousands of employees, so any manual step in the process becomes a bottleneck.

Banking systems integration during a merger. When one international bank acquired another, we handled integration testing and support for merging the two IT estates. This is work with no room for “we will fix it after release,” because real customer accounts are being merged.

Technologies and engagement models

  • Automation and AI. Machine learning and RPA applied to routine operations, in the places where a process is repeatable and cheaper to hand to an algorithm than to scale with people.
  • Custom development. From mobile and web applications to enterprise systems, going through a proof-of-concept stage so an idea is validated before the large spend.
  • Testing and QA. Testers join early and critical components get automated coverage, which speeds up releases and removes a class of expensive production failures.
  • Body Leasing. Targeted reinforcement of the client’s team with one specialist for the duration of a task, with no permanent hire.
  • Team Leasing. A complete project team delivered turnkey, with members replaceable without stopping the project.
  • Permanent Recruitment. Hiring IT specialists directly into the client’s staff, a natural line for a company inside the largest HR group in the country.

The strength of this arrangement is flexibility of format. One client needs a single engineer for three months, another needs a team for a year, a third needs a finished product with the hardware to run it. Rarely is all of that available from one contractor.

My role in the project

CTO. I owned the technical strategy, the solution architecture on client projects, and the adoption of AI, RPA, and cloud technologies, along with engineering standards, team structure, and the quality of every delivered solution.

Leading digital transformation. I guided clients through end-to-end transformation programmes: technical due diligence, architecture design, team formation, and delivery oversight. The projects covered banking, healthcare, e-commerce, and corporate HR automation across Eastern Europe and the MENA region.
